Come this Sunday to celebrate with palms, and hear the powerful story of Jesus' final days, as he confronts and overcomes corrupt power and violence through the cross. Here's a message from Pastor Moma of our partner church!
Vigil for the victims of the white-supremacist Mosque attack in New Zealand This Sunday, March 17, 6:00 p.m. Islamic Foundation of Villa Park, 300 W. Highridge Rd., Villa Park, 60181 All are invited, this Sunday, to a vigil for the victims of the white-supremacist terror attack in New Zealand. This attack, and the broader tone of politics across the globe, has increased the concerns of Muslims everywhere. This is a good time to show our Christian love for all. The Islamic Foundation in Villa Park is one of our partners in DuPage United, working for the well-being of all of DuPage County.
Although you might not know it from the way some Christians talk (I'm looking at you, Jerry Falwall, Jr., and you Mel Gibson for that torture-fest movie), the cross is somehow about love, right? How? What is love, really? Join us this Sunday to worship and learn about a God of love.
Ash Wednesday service - tomorrow!
Union Church Pastors' Emergency Fund - Running on Empty :(
An Ode to a "Capable Wife"? Yep, it's in the Bible. Cringe-worthy? Wise? Sorta both? Come to Union Church on Sunday at 9:07 or 10:00 and hear more.
Whoever you are, wherever you are in your life’s journey, join us for good tidings of great joy.

HCS Family Services is a non-profit organization serving the residents of Southeast DuPage and Western Cook Counties. Their goal is to help alleviate some of the worries of low income families by providing them with food and assistance. Did you know that families needing assistance through food stamps are unable to use them to purchase items that are not in the food category? This means no toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, diapers, pull-ups, wipes and feminine hygiene products. Members and guests of the Union Church of Hinsdale, U.C.C. are encouraged to bring in nonperishable canned and or boxed food items as well as paper products, diapers, wipes and feminine hygiene products to fill the designated shelves in the Gathering place during August. (If buying diapers, please purchase sizes 3 and up). Contact Steve Wareham at (847) 630.4734 with questions.

Faith and friendship, right? When you get right down to it, church is largely about relationships – with God and with other people. Many people at Union Church will tell you that our Simple Supper program is the most part of their church life because it is about these two basics: faith and friendship. Simple Supper groups are small groups of people who meet once a month in homes for fellowship, growth in faith, and a simple supper. They are informal, fun and truly meaningful. We are now organizing new groups for the fall, and we encourage everyone to participate. Find out how to sign-up for a group: https://hinsdale.chu rch/simple-suppers-what-really-matters-in-life/
